Summary: A story of love, fear and obsession. A teen taking care of a vampire, a pastry chef taking care of a deaf teen, and a waiter taking care of a keeper. All of their stories tie together and intertwine to create enemies and friends.
Rated: T (for future violence and whatnot)
Warnings: Men loving men, boys loving vampires, and a man loving a young man. He's 16-17 through out the story, and nothing hard core between the two.
IMPORTANT!!: I do not like Twilight, so it is NOT the reason I like vampires. c: Just so you know.
Thank you!

Prologue:
Erik sat up breathlessly, and glanced to his side. There his Landlord lie, sleeping soundly. But he felt something, something in the quiet, cold room he was resting in. He let his lungs rest themselves as he looked at the far armrest of the couch.
The room wasnt very dark, there was a dull glow from the streetlights outside, but the figure on the end-table was black as coal. There was no face, no eyes, only the silhouette of a gorilla head on a twisted and crude body.
In essence, a shadow.
Taking a breath and reaching over Henry, Erik managed to turn on the lamp.
And the shadow was gone.

It was short because it's a prologue.
And because I can access this at school, I hope that I can update as often as it comes. The first chapter is already started.

Is it okay to hate the main character?
It's not Erik or Henry, it's Adrian....
I really don't like him for some reason. I've tried to change his story, to make me like him, but it doesn't work...
Hur... oh well. XDDDD

Dude! If you absolutely hate the main character you should scrap him completely and start from scratch. Because even if you don't feel emotionally attached to your characters you should at least like them enough to want to write about them, you know?
But if you don't want to do that (or can't because you're writing it now) then my suggestion would be to change him as best you can then grin and bear it. Who knows, he might end up being your favorite character when all is said and done ^_^ (I hated Lunar at first but now he's my all time favorite OC

No. I think that it is good to have a character you don't like. And I think that he is too important to the story, especially his personality. It kinda draws everything together.
I made Erik and Henry more important in the series, because I love them both so much. And I REALLY love their story. >____< I think that is bad. (mary-sue wise)
Needless to say, though, I would never want their living arrangements with out someone living with me....
-cough- T.M.I.... oops.
